Some time ago we teased you with a pic of Jill’s apartment, and now you see it in action!

Remember how you read news at the start of every day in Prologue? Well, now you’ll be able to read the news themselves rather than just the headline!

Aside from the news in The Augmented Eye, you’ll be able to play the game’s soundtrack, enter a practice mode to hone your rad bartending skills, [spoiler], [spoiler] or even [spoiler]!

Every headline you click into or page you visit will also net you some remark from Jill and/or her cat Fore (Actually just Jill pretending Fore talks). You will also be able to furnish Jill’s apartment with all manner of trinkets or even see it change as days go by!

Please look forward to it.

Waifu Jam 2015, when?

I would love to make a new Waifu Jam but I think the last one ruined /agdg/ for a long time with tons of anime shitposting, and I feel kind of responsible for that. Might do one after VA-11 is done but I don’t wanna involve the thread this time. Demo Day is doing a fine job at encouraging progress anyway.

Just wondering, what do you think of Itch. io as a digital game distribution channel? I like how you guys can customized your own pages and set your own price so i would like to hear your thoughts on it.

itch.io is the best, no contest.

Seriously, no monkey business. Want to sell a game? just upload your thing, link your PayPal and you’re set, sky is the limit. Site support could be better, but considering it’s a one-man operation I don’t even complain. You can also set how much the store will get per sale, from 0% to 100% - it’s really good, and even though there’s a lot of junk, your game can be discovered pretty easily if you get into Game Jams or use the tags properly. For example, the pages for most of the Cyberpunk Jam games suggest VA-11 Hall-A all the time. As a gamer, you can register, follow developers and have your own custom feed with the games you and your favorite developers like.

Just… don’t expect to sell millions, that will depend on how good you are at marketing your game, but that’s the case with every storefront, even Steam.

Personally, I will push itch.io as the main place to get VA-11 Hall-A. It will be available on Steam and all but itch.io is just so comfortable! I love the place.

To anyone reading this, go to itch.io right now, play some games and tell your friends, it deserves to be huge!
