Are we getting a release before summer? The wait is getting unbearable, I need cocktails and waifus as soon as possible. :(

We are working as fast as we can, but keep in mind that the game got a huge overhaul and an engine change after Prologue so that kind of delayed things from our original christmas 2014 goal. You can see the results of that in the recently released demo.

That said, I owe everyone a long post about the progress as of late, and also catch up with the million questions we have.

I think the PAX demo is available now for those who bought the game in Humble Store! if not, it will be very soon, so please check your account!
So sorry for that dumb delay, I have no excuses and I’ll make sure it doesn’t happen again. Here’s a cute...

What softwares are you using? Also is the source code of the game under an open source license?

The game is being made in Game Maker: Studio (Although both the prototype and the prologue were made in Ren’Py).

Considering we’re talking about Game Maker here it’s certainly not Open Source. At some point, however, we thought about (Eventually, long after the full game got released) releasing the Game Maker Project free for download. Sadly, considering we’re using code and stuff by other people (The whole dialog system, more specifically, even though we’ve had to customize it quite a bit) we’d rather avoid any problems there.

We might, however, disclose and provide examples about how we did stuff like the jukebox, the bartending mechanics and so forth (Again, after we release the full game).
