The drinks are fictional because they help set up the world around them (The drinks we have nowadays are scarce or a commodity for the rich and wealthy).

As some of you know, we are showcasing a new demo for PAX Prime on booth 6708. With this knowledge, some of you might be wondering when we’ll be sending it to early adopters.

The short answer would be “Not immediately”. 

Unlike the Anna demo that was an original story written just for it, the demo in PAX right now starts with a short tutorial told by Gillian(!) and then you get to serve Streaming-chan. It’s all chunks of content taken from the full game.

So, we won’t be sending this particular PAX demo because you’ll all get to see what’s on it when we send the closed beta. If it was another original story, of course we’d send you all a copy. So don’t worry, you aren’t missing anything and you’ll all get to play what was on it.

Every official cameo we’ve included so far was requested to or by the original creators of the character (And in a couple of cases, to/by the person we took the likeliness of).

We’re also not working with any kind of tiers or backer rewards, but even if we did, we probably wouldn’t add a “Make sure a character you want appears in the game!” reward. We want the game to hold on its own even if you have no bloody idea what anything is a reference to, and giving a backer the right to add whatever it is they are thinking about (Even with input from ourselves) sounds risky. References have to be another layer, a bonus joke rather than THE joke. We’re an Animeme game, not a SHIT Animeme game.

That said, we ARE always open to suggestions and public feedback. Stella came to be thanks to the feedback of a sketch in one thread and Streaming-chan was born after we asked for client ideas and one of them was “A girl that streams her life 24/7”. Just keep in mind that suggesting it’s not a guarantee.

We’re not adding any other clients (Minor or otherwise) for the time being, but we’re still open to ideas for background elements, be it channels for the TV or background characters. So if you (Or anyone else reading this) has an idea that you feel would be cool, let us know! Don’t be shy.
